2010 Venice Architecture Biennale
|
|
Third Skin is part of a multi-discipline design team that has been selected to exhibit work in the Australian Pavilion at the 2010 Venice Architecture Biennale. The -41+41 installation will feature as part of a 3D Australian presentation titled NOW + WHEN Australian Urbanism.

Sustainable Affordable Housing Initiative
|
|
Third Skin / BKK Architects collaboration selected as one of four design teams commissioned to produce sustainable, affordable housing models in the mass housing sector. The resulting design provides a pragmatic response to improving sustainabiity outcomes within the context of current affordability and consumer expectations. Vicurban are looking to build five of the resulting designs as a demonstration project.

Chris Barnett instigated the innovative architectural collaboration between SBE and Six Degrees, won a competitive EOI process and was the Project Architect for design of the award winning new School of Architecture & Design in Launceston for the university of Tasmania.
